Michael Meares

Mike's background includes over 30 years of experience in the AV and Control industry having served as a sales rep for a variety of residential CI brands, distributorships, manufacturers and as a buyer for a national retailer. This vast array of experience has given him a unique perspective on all aspects of the residential CI business.

In February of 2020 Mike joined Sapphire Marketing as a sales representative for the 6 states of New England.  In this role he will manage the territory for the manufacturers, and provide the best possible customer service for the dealers and integrators in the territory.

Mike originally started in the industry with high end audio and was trained in both acoustics and audio system design. As sophisticated home controls started to appear, he shifted his focus and learned design, installation, and programming of residential control systems. His vast and varied industry knowledge can be utilized as an asset by the integration community in New England.
